Vendor Spotlight Page 2

2026 Stitchburgh Pa Vendors

We're here to celebrate the fiber arts and all the amazing people who make them shine!  Our festival is all about keeping things welcoming, affordable, and fun-a place where everyone can join in, from local yarn dyers and fiber artists to curious beginners picking up their first skein.  By keeping costs low and spirits high, we hope to lift up small businesses, spark creativity, and bring our community together through a shared love of all things fiber-where fiber connects us all.  Please see the detailed vendor spotlights and links below.

Created 4 U by Laura

Hi, I’m Laura

An avid knitter that also crochets, was looking for something my husband and I could do together....he’s a chef. Since we both have a little creativity in us....why not use it to create hand dyed yarn.

I took a class on hand dyeing, and that Christmas we both gave each other books and gifts about hand dyeing yarn....so the adventure began.

Since I am touchy/feely when it comes to yarn - I went in search of the best feeling yarn I could find...after many samples we have landed on the bases we offer today.  I am always on the look out for new and different bases....just recently added the linen!

We love color and are amazed with what we come up with!

Enjoy exploring our products and creating something truly amazing for yourself or gifts for others.

Thank you for supporting our fiber dreams!

Fabrics and Fit

Hand-dyeing fabric in bright and vibrant colors has been an enjoyable hobby for me for many years. From trying new color combos to testing new dyeing techniques, my favorite part of the process has always been sharing it with the cross stitch community. I decided it was finally time to create a space that makes it easy to do that. This space will allow you to browse current inventory of fabrics as well as hand-dyed and custom apparel. Thank you for visiting!

Dashshund Daddy Knits

What's all the bark about?

Dachshund Daddy Knits started as a little pup-sized hobby, grew into a tail-wagging dream, and is now living its best life! I picked up the needles to knit something special for my sweet girl, Oona, and now I’m paws-itively honored to serve our amazing community.

Fetching New Opportunities

I started Dachshund Daddy Knits while learning how to knit something for my puppy, Oona. What began as a small, personal project grew into a genuine love for knitting and the quiet care that goes into making something by hand. With a dachshund always nearby, the process became just as meaningful as the finished piece.

My work is rooted in being expressive, being bold, and thoughtful craftsmanship. Each skein is made with intention, and my hope is to one day grow this into a brick-and-mortar space that brings people together around creativity and connection.

Flower Hill Fleeces

Flower Hill Farm is situated on 230 rolling acres in Armstrong County Pennsylvania and serves as home for a growing flock of registered Shetland and Icelandic sheep (in addition to dogs, cats and a varying number of free range laying hens).  Carefully bred and selected for their quality fleeces, the sheep of Flower Hill Farm are tended to by Jodi Horgan, who owns the farm and is an avid spinner, knitter, weaver, and knitting instructor.

Jodi knows that happy sheep produce the best fleeces, and her sheep are cared for with love and attention (and yes, the sheep all have names).  Sheltered by a restored Pennsylvania bank barn and with access to well fenced pastures guarded by Bear, a Great Pyrenees/British Mastiff mix, Jodi’s flock produces very fine lambs and fleeces.

Flower Hill Farm is also a member of the North American Shetland Sheepbreeders Association (NASSA).

Our fiber mill will be opening spring of 2025 .

Check out the Shop page for more information about our products.

Jodi is also affiliated with group that started the Pa Sheep and Wool Festival.  Visit www.pasheepandwoolfest.com

Polymorph Dye Works

Hi, I'm Lindsay

And I'm your friendly yarn dyer based in Manassas, Virginia! I began my fibre journey in high school when I purchased a crochet pamphlet from a local big box store. Now, primarily a knitter (with lots of love and respect for my crocheters!), I find myself mesmerized by color, texture, and patterns.

One of my favorite things to do is create "memory" yarn from photos that reflects a fond memory or experience that's knit worthy!

I do custom dyes-- if you don't see a color you like, send me an email and we can discuss!

I’m a golden retriever mom, Korean American, knitterino, and cyclist. I love this adventure and I’m excited to share my love of fiber arts with you!

Stag & Spindle

Who we are

I'm Jake — a spinner, weaver, and lifelong maker who fell in love with Scotland the moment I first set foot on its mossy hills. What began as a childhood passion for yarn and fiber has grown into something deeper: a way of connecting with heritage, honoring tradition, and sharing stories — one blend, spindle, or stitch at a time.

Stag & Spindle is my creative home, and you're invited in.

Here, you'll find:

  • Custom wool blends inspired by Scottish landscapes and folklore
  • Handmade and curated spinning tools, including artisan drop spindles
  • Scottish treasures and wares from small makers I admire
  • Stories and reflections woven through my blog — from craft to culture

I’m still learning, still spinning, still exploring. This is a journey of making and meaning, and I’m glad you’re here to be part of it

Raggz Fiber Art

My love of all things fiber and knitting led me to open a small yarn shop in October of 2011 in the mining village of Forbes Road, PA. I have since added my own hand dyed yarns and fibers. Since 2015, I have hosted a semi-annual fiber festival in the Delmont, PA area. RaggZ also hosts an annual retreat each spring. Any time I am open, you are welcome to join us for free style knitting. My husband and I also own a 68 acre farm and raise cattle, goats, sheep, and chickens.

Dyeing requires a lot of water but I recycle water and utilize water from my dehumidifier to minimize waste. I also have my own way of final rinsing using natural ingredients.

There will be days when I will have to be CLOSED. They will be listed under the 'classes and events' heading. But if I am closed, please dont hesitate to call or text me at 724 600 5550 and I'm happy to be there

Bear Creek Stitches

I’m a stay-at-home mom who fell in love with embroidery and can’t stop.

My mom taught me to cross-stitch when I was a young child. I dabbled in it sporadically for years, until I discovered embroidery and the freedom of creation it allows. I’ve struggled with mental illness since I was a teen, and embroidery has completely opened up my once stagnant creative mind and I cannot get enough.

Lazy Meadows Alpacas & Fiber Mill

Lazy Meadows Alpacas & Fiber Mill is located on a 55-acre family farm just outside Hughesville, PA. In 2025 we dispersed our herd to be able to focus on the mill and doing more festivals. We do still have our 2 crazy dogs!

In 2021 we will celebrate 10 years of owning our fiber mill and producing yarn for customers around the USA. It has been a wonderful journey of meeting great people, blessed with processing a variety of fibers, learning new techniques and creating unique products that are eye catching. The focus of our mill is to create a high quality product from your fiber at an affordable price based on finished weight with some exceptions. We are a full line fiber mill and offer all services from yarn, roving, batting, wet or needle felt, rug yarn and dyeing. We will also stop at any point in processing, so if you just want a fleece washed, we will do that too!

In addition to the fiber mill, we also have our own shop on the farm. We offer a variety of wonderfully warm and affordable alpaca products. Our biggest seller by far are our cozy socks. We also carry hats, scarves, gloves, ponchos, mittens, plush teddy bears and so much more made with alpaca and alpaca blends. Besides our alpaca products we also make our own goat’s milk soap, lotion and pour our own soy candles…all in a variety of scents. You can pick up that amazing one of kind, handmade item as the perfect gift for someone special or treat yourself. Every Monday we host Knit Nite from 6:30-8:00ish. Bring a project (doesn’t have to be knit) and come visit with us. Meet our regulars, show off your projects, maybe learn something new or share a trick that you have – we would love to see you!

Dusty Tree Soap | DyeWorks

Hello there! I'm Rebecca, the creative behind Dusty Tree. The one who designs, makes and cuts each bar of Dusty Tree Soap. Everything is created with love & pride by my hands and not a robot.

I'm a 'retired' archaeologist who used to spend her days happily sitting in pits of dirt, squinting at tiny pieces of fragments in rather dirty hands all day. I used to get paid to play in the dirt - it was a dream job really, but if I think back it was also research. Research on how cleansing products would scrub away a days worth of digging while most also scrubbed away the natural oils in my skin. I used to have really sensitive hands, dry cracked knuckles and cuticles. Who knows what type of store bought products I was using and thought nothing of it. Fast forward years and I had kids, I knew right away I wanted to use pure natural soaps to cleanse them well. I didn't want to use nasty synthetic or weird chemicals on my babies’ brand new skin. I had a hard time finding pure simple handcrafted soaps without all of the petroleum based scents and artificial colors, so I decided to make my own. Nothing but the best for my kids, and now for you too!

Each bar of Dusty Tree Soap is labeled listing every single ingredient contained within. You will see that everything is familiar and easy to pronounce, since I keep it as close to Nature as I can.

I also do not use anything synthetic (scents, dyes or colors) in my NATURAL SOAPS. These are soaps with botanicals, clay or vegetable colorants. If a natural soap is scented, I use therapeutic grade essential oils or occasionally 100% natural fragrance oils . In 2021, I started playing around with soap colorants and fragrance oils. These soaps are my CREATIVE SOAPS. When you shop soaps on my website, you'll see that I keep these two categories separate so you always know what type you are looking at. I know some people are only interested in all natural products while others are more interested in fancy scents that you can't really get in an all natural soap. I use great care in developing a personalized product to ensure you receive and enjoy a spectacular bar of soap.

The name Dusty Tree is a quirky combination of my two sons' names: Dustin & Dimitri.

Dusty Tree is an independent cottage company specializing in handcrafted plant based palm oil free soaps. Everything is created by hand, labeled and packaged in my dedicated smoke free, pet friendly studio.
